Dear ARROW,

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Due to the fact that we will be having our church services at Expo on 2 consecutive Sundays at The Singapore Expo, Rock Kidz will be planning 2 special events for our children aged 8 to 11 years old. There will be 2 services at The Singapore Expo in November 2009 and we are expecting a total of 400 children to join us at Rock Kidz, per service (This works out to 800 children per Sunday – that’s massive!).

This means that we will need about 150 youth helpers from The Zone! If you like having loads of crazy fun, enjoy the spontaneity of kids and want to be a blessing, YOU are just the type of person we are looking for!

Roles

1. Game Store Keepers / Referees

You will be responsible for manning the game stores at GAMES DAY and you will also be the ones who will help to control the game play on Sports Day.

2. Child Chaperones

You will be attached to a Rock Kidz Teacher and will help him/her to lead a team of 10-15 children to their respective game play areas, according to the program on both days.

15 November 09 (Sundays)

Venue: The Singapore Expo, Hall 3

Time:
Shift 1 (1st service): 7.00am – 1.00pm
Shift 2 (2nd service): 12.30pm-6.30pm

Volunteers for Shift 1 will help in setting up while volunteers in Shift 2 will help to tear down on both Sundays. As there will be 2 English services at Expo, you will not miss sitting in for 1 service on Sunday!

Briefing & Training

Date: 4 November 09 (Wed)
Venue: Level 4 Overflow Room, Suntec
Time: 7.30-9.30pm

A crash course on how to handle children and a briefing on what the events are about and how you can help out, will be conducted by our beloved Teacher Ronnie.

Commitment
Please note that all volunteers who sign up with us must be able to commit to:

• Come for the training session on 4 November 09

• Serve 1 service on both Sundays
