Hey beloved youths,

What an awesome way to start the new year – with His Anointing fresh on our lives!  What an honor and privilege to have hands laid upon us to impart the anointing. A new year means new things, new breakthroughs … and with God, it only gets better!

2010 is a year of Rest & Reign, of spirit-directed activities.  And yes, we will still study, but have rest in studying, not from studying.  And it is very wise to sleep early too!

Pastor Benjamin shared on 1 Sam 16:1-3, about how David was anointed by God.  Though David wasn’t in the ‘in-crowd’ and forgotten by his father, he was chosen by God.  Maybe you are rejected by your friends, you are not tall, you have pimples, you are not doing well in school, etc … but God knows where to find you, and God has chosen you!  Don’t build your esteem on these things, but on that the Lord is with you.  Don’t live by what you see, e.g. your difficult subjects, how bad you are in time management, etc … but by faith (1 Sam 16:6)

Another cool thing Pastor shared is that God will always lead you by the ‘green light’ of peace, e.g. when Pastor was in secondary school, he was led to give a word of encouragement to a friend.  Also, God leads us step by step, when we take the first step of faith, then He will show us, just like what God did for Samuel (1 Sam 16:1-3)

So cool, when we REST in Him and depend on His Anointing … He leads us, empower us and causes us to REIGN!  His Anointing breaks bondages, puts new abilities in you like never before, you become not just a different person, but you make a different world!

Daddy God has gone ahead in 2010, and He says to you, it is ‘AWESOME!’
