As my prelim exams approached, I was still grappling with a few subjects such as Geography and Physics as I had not even managed to grasp the basic concepts even after much revision. My prelim results were less than satisfactory and I and felt discouraged. That was when I began to trust in God and believe radically in his love and favor towards me. I talked to God more often and asked Him to guide me whenever I studied. As I included Jesus into the equation, everything seemed simpler and I found new understandings of the subjects that previously baffled me.
The exams came and I walked in to the exam room each day, conscious that Daddy God would be with me as I did each paper. I applied the anointing oil on my papers and also prayed in the spirit before each paper. In the morning of the release of results, I got a call from my school to tell me that I had gotten 9A1s! It came as a total shock and I even thought that they had made a mistake!
All I asked was for me to get into the JC of my choice, but Daddy God exceeded my expectations and gave me much more. The reporters and everyone else have been asking what our “secret weapon” for doing so well is, and I do have a “secret weapon”, but it’s not a strategy, neither is it a thing. My “secret weapon” is a person, and his name is Jesus Christ!
