I am a fresh graduate who has recently completed a degree course in Switzerland. A week before Marked Camp, I received the result to one of my modules and realized that it was way below expectations – a D+. Furthermore, I didn’t invest much effort in writing the dissertation and how difficult it is to achieve a good grade for dissertations, I felt hopeless. To worsen the situation, I was under immense guilt and condemnation thinking that I have wasted my parents’ money on the education in Swiss.
God addressed my worry during the first sermon when Pastor Benjamin preached about Restoration, and while praying in tongues with a few brothers, I saw all my condemnation being wiped away and for once I truly had the revelation that I was righteous in God’s eyes simply because of Jesus. The ministering sessions, the worship and the fellowship during camp made me fall in love with Jesus all over again and from wanting God to fulfill my list of expectations, I just wanted Him, knowing that He is my success, He is my provider.
I came back from camp affirmed in His love. And I found out that I graduated among the top 13 in my year! Hallelujah! I was nowhere near the top until Jesus placed me there and it was totally undeserving. Camp has blessed me so tremendously that this doesn’t even excite me as much as knowing Jesus’ heart for me. Truly as Matthew 6:33 states ‘But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.’
