I must share my testimony of God’s grace in my life, I am experiencing His unmerited favour and seeing an increase as I rest in Him. Last year, God granted my desire to pursue a degree programme. I was on the waiting list and was told that chances to get in were slim. I paid a substantial amount for the down payment, and was told that I would need to pay a monthly school fee of $1070 in the next 16–17 months. Naturally, I was scared but I remembered that money is never a problem for my God.
Just when I was feeling the stretch before payday, my company gave us an early bonus. That amount was banked in on the VERY DAY that I felt down and discouraged. It was an unprecedented practice by the company to pay out in October. I really wanted to SHOUT out loud with joy! I asked my boss if this was a replacement for the December and January bonuses, and she said, “I don’t think this is a replacement, however, I am not promising anything”.
Jesus is so good to me. I did get my 13th month bonus in December 2009. And in January 2010, I got another bonus AND also a pay increment with no increase in my portfolio! In addition, someone blessed me with a sum of money in January 2010! It truly is a year of restful increase. Each time I get worried about my finances, God provides for me. Hallelujah!
