I was praying for a career breakthrough, as my performance had suddenly dropped and I was not meeting my targets. Feeling discouraged and upset, I was hungry for a solution. I knew that God is faithful as I’d heard testimonies about career breakthroughs through tithing with a revelation during CG gatherings. All these testimonies encouraged me
I was inspired by the story of Jacob and decided to set a sum of money to tithe. It was hard to part with the money as the sum was larger than my tithes when I was still a student. Amazingly, when Pastor Prince preached on restful increase, he also talked about how tithing is not for the Lord but for our own good. At the end of the service, the DVD on tithing was launched for the first time! I was shocked and touched to see that God is really speaking to me.
I tithed at the end of the service, and my heart felt like a burden was lifted. I asked the Lord about what He said in His Word, and to see if He would really open the windows of blessings that there won’t be room enough to contain. (Malachi 3:10) I also confessed Romans 11:16 that says “if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy”, and what that is holy, the devil can’t touch. I told the Lord that He had to take over my cases and I shall just LET GO and LET GOD!
In less than two weeks, I closed the most number of cases ever without any sweat. All glory to the Lord Jesus Christ!
