Step into the zone of the undeserved favour of God!

Rest & Be on Top in Life!

You know… we always depend on the anointing of God and we always depend on God’s quickening in our life to do anything. That’s how you rest. Rest, is not about not doing anything. Rest is spirit-directed activity. Rest is when you feel the life of God directing you towards one area, and then you find that as you move there, when there is rest, there will be favour. There will be breakthrough, there will be blessing, amen!

Many times, when you don’t serve out of rest, when you don’t study out of rest, when you don’t work out of rest, you will find there will be confusion. There will not be a wisdom that is from above; the solution that comes to your mind will just be soulish. But when it is out of rest, you will find that you will be full of anointing, full of the oil, full of favour; you know that when people hear it, there is a “Ummph” on the inside of them, amen.

So, in all that you do this year, stay in the place of rest. You know I read about a guy, you know, he is a good writer, he is a theologian.  And he says that one time he asked the Lord, “Lord how do I raise leaders in my church?”  The Lord said to him, “Raise those who are in rest. Raise those who are resting in Me.” He said, “The greatest leaders are those who know how to rest in Me.” So you know that’s why today, when you learn to rest, you will reign. You will reign! Of the three mighty men of David, you will find one of the men’s names is ‘the one who rests’ in Hebrew. You will find that in the book of Samuel, 2 Samuel 8 I believe. You will find his name, it means, ‘the one who rests.’

So if you want to be on top in life, learn to rest!

Amen Pastor! There are times when I rest, and I begin living in houses I did not build, drinking from vines I did not plant, and taking spoils from battles I dont fight. Its amazing till the point sometimes I wonder if I’m slacking, yet taking the rewards from the team mates.. Because the amount of work I do always seems lesser compared to my classmates, but the harvest is greater.. Praise Jesus!
